Friday Evening 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Be sure to include who your student will be representing somewhere on your RSVP form

A Live Wax Museum is where students from K-12th grade chose a person of interest; Baseball player, President, Missionary, Theologian, Author, Writer, just to name a few ideas. Prepare a tri-fold board with pictures and facts about their person of interest. Then they prepare a 20-30 sec speech as if they were actually that person. The student will also dress as that person. The catch is that they stay seated until the guest (grandparents, dads, moms, sister, etc) come by their station and push a red button (made out of provided construction paper). At that point they stand up and give their 20-30 sec speech; when finished they sit directly back down as if they were wax!
This is such a fun way for your student to present without having to be on stage or mic'd. They have the freedom to share their short speech with one to three people at a time a few times that night. In the past few years we have had some interesting characters - C.S. Lewis, Pocahontas, Annie Armstrong, Abraham Lincoln, Tim Tebow, The "Tallest" person in the world, Ronald Reagan and lots of other fun interesting people.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU SUBMIT WHAT PERSON YOUR STUDENT HAS DECIDED TO REPRESENT ON THE RSVP PAGE. The night of, we will have a time of fellowship as well as finger foods! Make sure to invite your whole family so they can enjoy the hard work your student has put into their project!
